Meet the Running Team:

Matthew Mugnaini

During his 11 years in the Marine Corps, Matt served as a UH-1Y pilot and Special Operations Officer, where he led the special operators within MARSOC and the aviation community. During his time on active service he deployed several times to the Pacific region supporting training missions and contingency operations. At Academy Securities, Matt works on the Capital Markets team, where he assists in providing geopolitical expertise and market insights to his clients. Matt and his wife Nicole are the proud parents of 3 beautiful daughters.

Mark Harvey

During his 11 years in the Marine Corps, Mark served in a variety of different capacities, including Platoon Commander, Executive Officer, and Company Commander across his deployments in Japan, Korea, the Middle East, Europe, Southeast Asia, and Africa.  Mark concluded his active service as a Commanding Officer at the School of Infantry West, Detachment Hawaii. In his current role at Academy Securities, Mark works on the Asset Management team.  Mark and his wife Kate are also proud parents of 3 beautiful daughters.

Dan Stahlschmidt

After receiving his undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from the United States Naval Academy, Dan served 10 years as a Naval Aviator in the US Navy.  After his time in the Navy, Dan received his MBA and transitioned to Institutional Equity Sales.  Dan has pursued this work at several different firms ultimately landing at Academy Securities in 2021, where he currently serves as a Managing Director

Clare English-Mulholland

As the proud granddaughter of a Marine, Clare is thrilled to support team Academy Securities in this event.  While Clare is not an immediate member of the Academy Securities professional team, Clare’s Mom (MP) joined Academy Securities’ Geopolitical Content Distribution team in January 2025. As an avid runner, Clare was thrilled to jump in to support the team at Academy.
