Support Turning Point of Windham County
We are a peer-led Recovery Center in the heart of downtown Brattleboro, serving the region of Windham. Our goal is to create a network of support, community, and care for everyone who has been impacted by the disease of addiction. Our Recovery Coaches provide professional peer support at our center, within local hospitals, and out in the community. Additionally, our center serves as a safe and comfortable hub for recovery groups, wellness and recreation, community meals, and judgement-free conversations.
As a nonprofit, your contribution makes a huge difference in our ability to support our staff and community, as well as take on new projects and programming. Every dollar you give strengthens our recovery community and has the potential to profoundly impact the life of someone struggling with harmful substance use. VALUES
-
Non-judgmental – We do not judge anyone’s difficulties, requirements, or path to recovery.
-
Compassionate – Regardless of where or who a person has been, we welcome them as they are with compassion, empathy, and openness.
-
Peer-Driven – Our peers know substance use and recovery. We believe in the importance of self-direction because that is what we wanted for ourselves as well.
-
Community – Connection is the opposite of addiction. We provide a safe, supportive space for connection to grow.
