Support Turning Point of Windham County

We are a peer-led Recovery Center in the heart of downtown Brattleboro, serving the region of Windham. Our goal is to create a network of support, community, and care for everyone who has been impacted by the disease of addiction. Our Recovery Coaches provide professional peer support at our center, within local hospitals, and out in the community. Additionally, our center serves as a safe and comfortable hub for recovery groups, wellness and recreation, community meals, and judgement-free conversations.

MISSION

Turning Point of Windham County provides coaching and support for individuals in our community at any stage of their recovery from harmful substance use through compassionate peer-led social connection, education, and advocacy.

VISION

We envision a supportive community where people affected by Substance Use Disorder receive the support and resources needed to live productive, connected lives free of stigma.

Non-judgmental – We do not judge anyone’s difficulties, requirements, or path to recovery.
Compassionate – Regardless of where or who a person has been, we welcome them as they are with compassion, empathy, and openness.
Peer-Driven – Our peers know substance use and recovery. We believe in the importance of self-direction because that is what we wanted for ourselves as well.
Community – Connection is the opposite of addiction. We provide a safe, supportive space for connection to grow.
