Alfredo Chamonica-4x4x24 Running Challenge
Growing up in an underserved community, I experienced firsthand how lack of resources can limit opportunities. Too often, talented and hardworking kids are held back—not because they lack dedication, but because they don’t have the support they need to succeed.
This is why we’re using the 4x4x24 Challenge as more than just a test of endurance—it’s a movement to raise funds for underserved kids who face these same challenges today. In a time when divisions and injustices are felt more than ever, we want to make sure those who are most affected don’t get left behind.
Your support will help provide essential resources for kids who need them most—whether it’s access to sports, education, or other opportunities that can change their future. This challenge isn’t just about running; it’s about showing up for the next generation and making sure every kid, regardless of their circumstances, has a chance to thrive.
Join us on April 11th at 5 PM as we kick off the 4x4x24 Challenge! We will meet on the east side of The Best Western Hotel in Hood River, OR, in the parking lot closest to Highway 84.
Five athletes and I will be taking on the full challenge—running 4 miles every 4 hours for 24 hours. But you don’t have to do the whole thing to be part of this movement! We encourage the community to come out, run with us, and show support—whether it’s just for one run or as many as you’d like. Every step, every mile, and every donation helps make a difference.
Together, we can break down barriers and create real change. Join us in making a difference.
