While many of us celebrate with our families this Thanksgiving, farm workers face different realities.

Some will work during the holiday because farming is considered an essential service, and many operations continue regardless of the holiday.
Others celebrate with traditional foods such as tamales and pozole to find comfort away from home.
Some navigate the balance of honoring their culture while living in a culture that benefits from their labor but resists their full belonging.

This Thanksgiving, give thanks to farm workers whose commitment and hard work continue to put food on our table while away from their own. Farm workers provide food for us every day so this year we are dedicating a day to show them our gratitude and commitment to ensuring that their labor and dignity is respected.
