Right now, right here in Northern Nevada, there are children who long to run, play and have the same kind of fun other kids are having. Kids who dream about being pain-free without having to swallow a handful of pills every day, feel the sting of injections, or go through hours of infusions at the doctor’s office. Kids who long for an end to the trial-and-error approach to treating juvenile arthritis (JA) – seeing what works and what doesn’t, often with unpleasant side effects along the way.

AOII’s Reno Tahoe Alumnae Chapter – in partnership with the National Automobile Museum and the Arthritis Foundation – is pleased to host Northern Nevada JA Day at the National Automobile Museum on Sunday, September 30 from 2 – 4 P.M. Local JA kids and their families and their AOII hosts will enjoy the museum (treats and refreshments provided!). AOII Alumnae are invited to purchase their personal ticket for the event, sponsor a collegiate AOII’s attendance if the alumna cannot attend, and/or contribute to the AOII Foundation’s Arthritis Fund.
