In-Kind

In-Kind donations are important to the sustainability of Friendship Community Place. In-kind donations include non-cash contribution of goods or services. These donations help Friendship save money, expand services, and meet operational needs.

Please note, according to IRS regulations, establishing a dollar value on donated items is the exclusive responsibility of the donor.

Friendship Community Place cannot attach a proper dollar value to your gift. For your record keeping purposes, you may wish to attach a proper dollar value to your gift. Federal tax law imposes certain reporting obligations for charitable contributions of property other than cash. IRS form 8283 and its instructions can assist you with your reporting obligations.

Examples of In-Kind Donations

Tangible Goods: Food, clothing, medical supplies, office supplies, equipment, and vehicles.

Services: Professional services like legal, accounting, or marketing support, offered at no cost or for a reduced fee.

Use of Space: Free or discounted use of event venues, office space, or other facilities.
