The Jersey City Times was founded in October of 2019 with the goal of providing reliable and informative news focused solely on Jersey City. In the five years since its founding, the site has amassed a large and passionate readership. Our data tells us that our readers have a hunger for information on the city's schools.

In order to better serve our readers, we have created The Jersey City Times Education Reporting Project, which will provide comprehensive, up-to-date reporting on all aspects of the Jersey City Public Schools with an eye towards informing the community about areas in need of improvement and potential strategies for addressing them.

With your help, we will arm Jersey City's residents, including parents, teachers, and children, with the critical information needed to move the schools forward.
