The First Annual Jersey City LGBTQ Expo launches as a bold new chapter in our growing movement to uplift and empower the LGBTQIA+ community. As we present this inaugural event, we shine a light on Jersey City—a place known for its diversity, strength, and vibrant queerpresence.

Our goal is to cultivate a space where community members feel affirmed, valued, and supported. With this year’s theme, “Dismantling Stigma,” we aim to challenge the narratives that have long silenced conversations around mental health, HIV, substance use, hidden disabilities, and other key issues affecting our communities.

Modeled after the success of the Bronx LGBT Expo, the Jersey City edition reflects our deep commitment to expanding access, awareness, and visibility. We’re bringing together Jersey City’s LGBTQIA+ community, alongside allies, advocates, and organizations, to celebrate identity while confronting the stigma that too often stands in the way of healing and connection.

Attendees can expect a vibrant community-centered experience, with support and resources from local organizations, lively Drag performances, and impactful conversations led by lived experience and professional insight. We will explore topics such as HIV care, emotional wellness, and community healing in a setting built on celebration, education, and pride.
