It’s here! The Junior League of Charlotte’s 2023 Little Black Dress Initiative (LBDI) fundraising week is March 6th-10th, and I’m participating for the whole month!
LBDI is a week-long campaign to raise awareness about poverty in the Charlotte area and to fundraise to further the critical mission of the Junior League of Charlotte.
Did you know that 14% of children in Charlotte live below the poverty line and often begin the school year without essential supplies?
Our partner, Classroom Central, has helped over 50,000 students obtain these crucial materials. Creating community solutions to poverty is a priority for the Junior League of Charlotte. Help us continue our mission and support our partners who are already making a difference in the community.
