The Junior League of Columbus’ signature project, Bridging the G.A.P., supports youth aging out of the foster care system. Each year in Ohio, close to 1,000 youth transition out of foster care. Your generous gift today will assist the Junior League of Columbus in our advocacy efforts to back legislative initiatives to support transitional-age foster youth.

This year, we are raising money for Project Advocate, a part of our Bridging the G.A.P. project that focuses on advocacy efforts for the needs of youth transitioning out of foster care. Below are some suggested amounts with ways that money could be used for support!

For $25, you can cover stamps and envelopes that would help us to send 25 letters to our legislators encouraging their support.

For $50, you can cover round trip bus transportation for up to 12 advocates' travel to rally for support on upcoming legislation.

For $75, you can support advocacy training for JLC members

For $100, you can assist with coordinating statehouse rallies and other events for our youth and advocates.
