As part of the recent, sudden, and devastating funding cuts for the arts, JLDC lost a $10,000 grant from the National Endowment for the Arts.

This grant award was to support a JLDC Residency in Fairfield, Iowa this October, in partnership with Iowa Dance Collective. As part of the NEA's Challenge America grant program, this residency would bring free professional dance to young people in rural communities through education, performance, and exchange. We are deeply saddened to have lost this funding, but are committed to raising the money to bring the project to life regardless.
