This immersive overnight shelter event will take place at Sherrod Avenue Church of Christ. Check-in: 5 PM / Check-out: 7 AM Free parking is available in the church lot. Participants will go through an intake process, which includes a bag and clothing search. (Please note that, as with our regular shelter nights, individuals on the sex offender registry cannot participate.) All participants must be at least 16 years old, and anyone under 19 will need a parent or legal guardian to sign a waiver. Personal belongings are limited to 1 backpack per person. Cell phones are allowed, but NO OTHER DEVICES WILL BE PERMITTED. To ensure authenticity, luxury items such as makeup, skincare products, pillows, blankets, eye masks, etc, will not be allowed. No snacks or drinks! Dinner and breakfast will be provided. *Participants must raise a minimum of $100 to cover their overnight stay. There are incentives for going above and beyond that amount!
