In the Steel Valley, a region defined by what its people build, there are young students right now designing robots, solving engineering problems, and discovering what they’re capable of. They just need the right support to get there.

 The Jenifer R Powers Fruit Memorial Fund awards grants to scholastic STEM and robotics programs across Northeast Ohio and Western Pennsylvania. Since 2017, we have distributed $75,000+ to 18+ teams — enabling students to purchase equipment, attend competitions, and develop skills that will shape their futures.

 Your gift today directly funds a grant. Here’s what your support makes possible: 

• $50 — Helps a student attend a regional robotics competition

• $150 — Funds essential components for a robotics build

• $500 — Sponsors an entire robotics team for a season

• $1,000 — Provides transformative support for a school program
