WPSR: OSSE x DC STEMNet Engineering & Construction Expo
OSSE x DC STEMNet Engineering & Construction Expo
February 27 | 1:15 PM – 2:15 PM
Following the executive leadership meeting, STEMNet and its federal, education, housing, and industry partners will host an immersive Engineering & Construction Expo in celebration of Engineering Week. During this hour, participants will transition into an active collaboration environment where students, agencies, mentors, and employers work side-by-side across multiple engagement stations designed to transform exposure into opportunity.
The session highlights hands-on approaches that strengthen workforce empowerment, self-sufficiency, and independent living — aligning
STEM Education → Credentialing → Apprenticeships → Careers
Together, partners will demonstrate real pathways into three priority impact areas — housing and community development, advanced technologies, and skilled workforce readiness — while reinforcing a measurable model that turns inspiration into outcomes.
