Jackie's Fund (2026)

   Jackie Farry was an avid dog lover with a passion for helping the "PG pitties", the underdogs of our community.  Jackie and her wife Aimee adopted two pit bulls, Mary and Ruby (mother and daughter), from LOVEPAWS. Both dogs were pulled from the PG County animal shelter (PGASD) and were victims of BSL (the County-wide pit bull ban).

After being diagnosed with multiple myeloma (cancer), Jackie reached out to us about creating a fund dedicated to rescuing the PG pitties, with a focus on those with medical needs and made a generous donation to start the fund.

Jackie passed away January 11, 2025 and to honor her memory, we will continue to highlight Jackie’s Fund on the 11th of every month. Whether it's $11 or $1,100, each contribution helps us move closer to our goal of supporting the dogs Jackie cared for so deeply. Together, we can continue the fight Jackie began – for the love of pitties, and for the spirit of advocacy she embodied so fully.
