Jazz Combos

Our Jazz Combo Master Sessions with John Northey and Cameron Stedman give students the chance to learn what makes small-group jazz come alive. In a combo setting, students develop improvisation skills, musical communication, and the confidence to listen and respond in real time—core elements of jazz that can’t be learned from sheet music alone. The suggested donation is $200 to support eight master sessions, helping us fairly compensate our instructors for their expertise, preparation, and time invested in mentoring our young musicians.
