I'm turning 50!!! Pretty sure this is the official Cat Lady Level before I hit the Cool Cat Lady Level (that's what it's called, right?). As most of you know, a small amazing group of humans have joined forces to start a Trap Neuter Return (TNR) program in Russellville, Arkansas (AR). As with any program, we run into issues and have worked together to overcome them. We started at the end of May this year and have fixed almost 200 cats!! This doesn't include cats we have helped transport for the community or cats/kittens we have transported outside of AR.

In order to overcome some of our current barriers, I'm reaching out to my community on my 50th to help us with:
Food - We provide food to caregivers when needed. Occasionally we trap kittens and are always in need of Kitten Chow and boxes of Friskies canned food. Kitty litter would also be helpful.
New Traps - several of our traps are the lower end ones and fail often. We would love more Tru Catch or Tomahawk traps, but they cost around $100 each!
Trail Cams and/or GoPro - we have borrowed a trail cam, and it would be nice to have our own. Have an old GoPro - please donate!
Surgery Money - We spend an average of $47 to fix, vaccinate, and medicate each kitty we trap.
BIG ITEM - VAN!!! For most transports we are tetrising* 10+ cats in my Prius. We would LOVE to get a mini-van to help us on trap and transport days! We currently have to transport cats a minimum of 40 miles for their surgery appointments. We are also open to sponsors and displaying your cat friendly business all over our van - it will go between Russellville and Conway or Russellville and NWA frequently.

If you need a tax receipt please reach out. We currently partner with Shoal Bay Animal Haven for 501c3 status until ours is processed. We have submitted the paperwork and are approved for State, but still waiting for Federal.

* Tetrising (from Urban Dictionary) -The act of fitting a lot of crap into a very tiny space through clever usage of every bit of available space. Tetris-gifted people can easily pack an entire house into the trunk of a Toyota (such as a Prius). This can come in very handy when space is at a premium!
