ALS Families Helping ALS Families
Jim and Rowyn are both bravely living with ALS, a disease that brings unimaginable challenges each day. Though they are in very different stages of life—Jim is 65 years old and Rowyn is 28 —they are experiencing the same disease, the same symptoms, and the same terminal outcome. Their stories highlight the devastating reach of ALS, which knows no boundaries of age or circumstance.
Together, Jim and Rowyn are launching ALS Families Helping ALS Families: Jim, Rowyn & the Susan Mast ALS Foundation, a fundraiser to support the Susan Mast ALS Foundation. This campaign shines a light on the upended families of ALS who are devastated by the overwhelming cost of caring for loved ones with this incurable disease.
The Susan Mast ALS Foundation currently serves more than 140 families living with ALS in West Michigan, providing critical resources, support, and care when it’s needed most. From in-home care and equipment assistance to emotional support and community connection, every dollar raised stays here in West Michigan to give families hope and strength.
Join Jim, Rowyn, and the Susan Mast ALS Foundation in this campaign. Together, we can support ALS families, honor their courage, and keep building a community of care.
