My mission will aim to raise funds in support of an organization very near and dear to me - Stem From Dance. Their focus is to empower, educate and encourage young girls from under-served and under-represented communities to pursue careers in STEM (science, technology, engineering and math), using dance to create tech-infused performances.

Growing up in ballet, dance has always remained an important part of my life and working in the STEM industry, I’ve experienced first-hand the painful gap in STEM workforce representation, especially in women and under-represented minorities.

Stem From Dance has brought together two worlds that I deeply love and proud to be part of, and while they seldom intersect, they are bringing change to the world and creating the change-agents of tomorrow.

What a creative and empowering way to fuel learning, engagement and opportunity, using dance - a common language, as a resource to create an equitable future.
