Joe

Joe is a stray picked up in Midland City, AL on 11/30/25. He was taken to the vet on 12/1/25 to get scanned for chip (no chip found), heartworm tested (negative), fecal test (came back clear), and get vaccinations so he can get groomed on 12/2/25. He is matted all over so he needs to get groomed ASAP! Joe also had fleas so he was treated for some sores on his neck from scratching and we started him on heartworm/flea/tick prevention. Joe will be neutered after the 7 day stray hold is up and is in desperate need of a dental cleaning. His initial vet bill was $175.00. If no owner comes forward within the next 6 days, he will need to get neutered and have a dental so we are trying to raise $500 to help cover that cost. Once that is complete, he will be up for adoption.  He is estimated to be around 5 years old, currently weighs around 14 pounds (a little underweight).
