Our dear friend John, who has called a tent near Canalport and Ruble home since 2018, recently embarked on a life-changing journey. With the support of A Safe Haven, John moved into a new apartment last month. However, like many transitioning from homelessness, his new place is sparsely furnished—a couch and a bed, and little else.

To ensure John's comfort and well-being in his new home, we've started by providing essential items such as towels, dishes, pots and pans, cleaning supplies, and a garbage can. But we know he needs more than just the basics. A warm comforter, fresh clothes, nourishing food, soft sheets, and even a TV would greatly enhance his quality of life.

This marks John's first step off the streets in six years, and we are committed to making this transition as comfortable and smooth as possible for him. Let's join together to transform his apartment into his home—a place where he can rebuild his life with dignity and hope.
