Direct artisan partnerships in Morocco, Kenya, and the Dominican Republic
Hiring vulnerable women in our Lawrenceburg, Tennessee community referred to us by local agencies
Warehousing services supporting 8 other global handmade brands making an impact in their communities
Free peer-to-peer coaching calls to emerging small businesses, paying forward how others have helped us
Intentional Purchasing from other like-minded brands to stock the Jubilee storefront, so every dollar we spend makes a difference

Because we run a product-based business, we are 70% self-funded! The sales from products made through the employment we create provide us with a strong foundation. Now, we’re looking to you for help in growing to a new level and expanding our impact through:

Sponsoring local women in our employment program
Acquiring an artisan brand in decline so we can continue employing their artisans

Your Financial Support Will Help Us To:

A) Hire more local women referred to us: There is always plenty of work to be done, but to be sustainable, we’ve had to stick to a budget and turn away women we couldn’t afford. This summer, we spent a lot of time navigating government funding programs, only to have programs ended mid-application or the process take so long that it’s months before we’re able to hire a referral. By sponsoring a woman, you help us employ her when she needs it, instead of when a government office allows us to.

$36 employs a woman for a day
$144 employs a woman for a week
$624 employs a woman for a month
$7488 employs a woman for a year

We need 20 people to commit to sponsoring a woman at $36 a month to hire an additional woman in our community. Will you join us?

B) Acquire a struggling artisan brand: A brand we love is on the verge of closing, but we want to keep it going! We’re in the process of taking on their business so we can continue employing their four full-time artisans in Kenya and grow the impact they’ve already started in their community. Taking on a struggling business is a real investment, but we believe in this work and see a bright future for these artisans.

Every part of Jubilee’s work aims to shine a light in dark places, linking arms with others so that we can all grow and flourish.
