High School in Kenya is not free. As a result, the poorest of the poor have no access to education beyond elementary school.

Unfortunately, in rural Maasai communities, many young girls are illegally married if they are not secured safely in school. These children are forced to become second, third or fourth wives as young as 13 or 14. The cycle of violence and poverty continues as they bear children of their own, resigned to staying in the village, tending to the home and animals for the rest of their days.

By donating to the Amazing Maasai Girls Project and helping sponsor students, you can help break this cycle. Your support will directly fund the high school education of girls in Laikipia, Kenya. By keeping girls safe in school, you give them the chance to develop the skills and confidence to pursue her dreams of a career and independence.

A monthly donation of $29 is the same as a Netflix subscription but will keep a girl safe and thriving in school.
