ArtSee Phase II

Because of the generosity of many people, Phase I of the ArtSee
campaign (matching the $1-million challenge) was concluded ahead of
schedule. As a result, fabulous things have been accomplished at the
Art Center of the Bluegrass: the opening of GLASS National Art
Museum, Murinni Café, Fern Curated Gifts, the Art Studio, two new
artist’s studios, and a culinary kitchen and classroom. In addition to
tuck-pointing and painting the exterior of the entire adjoining building
we acquired, the first and second floors of the interior of our “new”
1908 building have now been renovated.

Phase II projects include the restoration of the original 3 rd -floor ballroom; the
creation of a new structure with a lobby, elevator, and additional
staircase; the restoration of the windows on the 2 nd and 3 rd floors; and
the addition of a small glassblowing studio.
