Paws for Hope - Healing After Helene

TimberKnolls Spirit Cove's giant Newfoundland dog therapy team specializes in helping people overcome illness and trauma. We are building a therapy ranch in Hendersonville, NC, which can help heal communities impacted by Hurricane Helene. Survivors of floods and natural disasters are at risk of experiencing negative emotional impacts, including depression, anxiety, and isolation. Please help us keep Appalachia strong!

With your support, our therapy teams give out 'Pawsitivity Pouches' to front-line heroes (first responders, healthcare workers, linemen, teachers, veterans) to help rebuild their spirits. These small packages of treats and positive vibes will lift spirits and leave our heroes with some self-care reminders (including suicide prevention and awareness information) after we've gone. We are dependent on monthly donations to keep us going.
