It’s $5 Friday!

Merlin at 1.5 years old was brought to the shelter as a surrender.  Merlin had an old injury to his left hip and pelvis that caused arthritis and muscle loss in that leg.  He needed life-saving surgery and long-term care. 

Unfortunately, the shelter did not have the funds to care for him but they saw potential for his future life.

Merlin had a new adopter but the cost for life-saving care was beyond their means.  That is when KodiakCare stepped in and lifted the financial burden.  Merlin got life saving surgery and a forever home.

Merlin has a long and healthy life of ahead of him with his new family.  Every day dogs with and without homes need life-saving care.
