This year, I’m celebrating my January 12 birthday by giving back to a beautiful community —Altadena. As many of you know, devastating fires have impacted the area, causing loss and uncertainty for so many families.

In this time of need, I’m supporting an organization uniquely positioned to uplift the Altadena community: A Sisterhood for Fatherless Daughters. Based in Altadena and led by an Altadena native, this incredible nonprofit is on the front lines, helping girls and young women who have experienced fatherlessness to heal, grow, and thrive.

While first responders and relief organizations address immediate needs like shelter, food, and clothing, A Sisterhood for Fatherless Daughters is dedicated to long-term recovery. Their mission focuses on creating supportive communities and providing the resources needed for emotional healing, self-discovery, and empowerment—work essential as Altadena rebuilds and strengthens in the aftermath of these fires.
