The KHS Variety Show was started by our school’s leadership group, Caring Council, in response to a 2004 tsunami strike in Sri Lanka that dramatically affected the family of one of our Kings Highway teachers. The show has since raised funds for several organizations including Katrina Relief, Make a Wish, Hole in the Wall Gang, and Autism Speaks. This year, we are thrilled to fundraise for Circle of Care!

Circle of Care is a nonprofit organization that supports families of children with cancer right here in Connecticut. The organization provides practical, emotional, and financial support through various programs and services from financial assistance to dream room makeovers and everything in between!

Together through this year’s Variety Show, we will work toward our goal of $4000 to be able to provide a dream room makeover to a child with cancer through Circle of Care’s Art From the Heart program. This room makeover allows the child to help design the room of their dreams. The room makeover is then completed by a team of volunteers.

This is now the 18th show production of the KHS Variety Show and we look forward to a huge success in support of Circle of Care!
