Kappa Iota Zeta proudly served the East Point and South Fulton communities with measurable, mission-driven impact aligned with our National Initiative, the Power of S.H.E.—Social, Health, and Economic Justice. Through strategic programming, our chapter touched thousands of lives across Metro Atlanta.

Over the past year, our chapter mobilized its 250+ members to meet critical community needs through meaningful, large-scale initiatives. Key highlights include:

Upholding our first principle, Scholarship, we awarded $43,300 in scholarships to deserving students.
557 all-white towels, sheets & blankets collected for families in crisis
305 baby items donated during a citywide Community Baby Shower
153 food and household essentials collected to Pack the Pantry
100 turkeys were donated to the City of East Point, and 400+ turkeys were distributed to the VA Hospital
90+ Easter baskets gifted through Hosea Helps
1,000+ school supplies delivered to Asa G. Hilliard & Hamilton E. Holmes Elementary Schools
Sensory-friendly blankets donated to support students with Autism and sensory needs
15 families adopted and provided with full holiday support
$2,000+ contributed to Women Veterans Rock
$10,000+ raised for March of Dimes—earning 2nd place in the D9 competition
Community Partners with Margie’s House, Solomon’s Temple and Black Health Matters
