In 2026, I am making my second attempt at earning my Red Hat at a 29029 event. For those of you that aren't familiar with 29029 - it's an event where I am challenged to climb a mountain as many times as it takes to reach a total elevation of 29,029 feet which is the equivalent of climbing Mt. Everest and I must do this in 36 hours or less! In this case I needed to climb Stratton Mountain 17 times to complete the challenge. I made it to 14.
Now I'm back to try again but this time, I am climbing for a much greater cause than just myself! 💪⛰️
As someone who loves to train and take on big endurance challenges, I know how incredible it feels to cross that finish line — that sense of accomplishment, joy, and pure adrenaline is like nothing else!
That’s why I’m raising funds for the Kyle Pease Foundation — an amazing organization that helps athletes with disabilities experience that same feeling by creating opportunities for them to participate where they otherwise wouldn't be able to — from marathons to Ironman races and beyond! KPF promotes awareness, provides support and adaptive equipment, and makes it possible for people of all abilities to participate in endurance events because everyone deserves the chance to feel that finish-line magic! 💪
Every dollar donated goes straight towards my goal of raising $10,000 for these incredible athletes!
If you’re able to donate, I’d be so grateful. We can make a difference TOGETHER. ❤️
