In Kabul, Afghanistan, an estimated 60,000 to 70,000 children work on the streets to support their families. Many engage in street vending, shoe shining, begging, or other labor just to earn enough for a meal. Despite their hard work, they still struggle to afford even basic food.

As Ramadan approaches, their burden grows heavier. While many prepare for the month with family meals, these children worry about whether they will have anything to eat. No child should have to carry such a heavy responsibility, especially during this sacred time.
