About Project Ready

Project Ready NJ is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization led by founder and CEO Shennell Barnes McCloud. With a mission to address opportunity gaps and improve life outcomes, Project Ready focuses on social justice, public health, educational inequities, and civic engagement. Under Shennell’s leadership, we are driving a campaign that encourages Black women's participation in elections, highlighting their critical role in community politics and democracy.
