In 2026, the Milwaukee arts community continues to deal with a huge blow from the past year: the cancellation and reduction of government funding for the arts at all levels. These are the deepest, most severe cuts in all the decades of Ko-Thi's existence.

Now in its 57th year, Ko-Thi celebrates being debt-free and having reached over 1 million children across 5 1/2 decades. It is essential that we keep on reaching them! With so much change happening around us and TO all of us in the past 5 years, we are becoming used to innovating plans for our future. But it's very tough to plan when vital financial support can literally disappear overnight!

Amidst all the confusion, we remember together that the arts keep our hearts alive. We appreciate our community and the struggles we are all going through. Whatever you feel moved to give today, we are grateful to you. Every little bit will help.
