About the Alliance for American Leadership
The Alliance for American Leadership is a grassroots Political Action Committee dedicated to mobilizing the next generation of leaders and restoring America’s commitment to foreign aid. The Alliance believes an engaged youth electorate can change the trajectory of our country - especially when young people are mobilized around restoring foreign aid. That belief drives its work to increase youth turnout, elevate emerging leaders, and support policymakers who champion foreign aid.
In a short time, the Alliance has built a national presence and a record of meaningful action:
-
Founded 80 university chapters, creating a vibrant network of young advocates across the country
-
Held more than 700 meetings with Members of Congress and their staff, ensuring young people have a seat at the table and pressing lawmakers to stand up for foreign aid
-
Knocked on thousands of doors to help Congressman James Walkinshaw (D-VA-11) win his election, forming a key alliance on the Hill
