Meet Katie Banks

Horizons Elementary

11th Grade Team Manager

As an educator, Katie Banks has spent her career working with students in academics—often in areas they may not naturally feel passionate about. Through Filling The Lane (FTL), she now has the opportunity to work with young athletes in something they truly love: the game of basketball.

She has witnessed student-athletes experience many “firsts”—from traveling on flights and long road trips to visiting college campuses. These moments open their eyes to new possibilities and show them that basketball can be a pathway to achieving dreams they may have once been afraid to pursue.
