Hello Family and Friends,

I am participating in the 16th Annual Keefe Family Polar Plunge - to benefit The Logan Family.

On March 9th, at 12:00 PM, I will be plunging into the Atlantic Ocean, in Seabrook NH (Hooksett St Beach Access).

I would like to take a moment of your time to acquaint you with this year's beneficiary of the Plunge, the Logan Family. Lindsay and Nick Logan, have three children, Rylin, Ellie, and Nicholas. In September, Lindsay’s sister Jocelyn tragically passed away. Nick and Lindsay have taken into their home Jocelyn’s children, Kevin, Paislynn, Maston, and Alanna.

The Logan family went from five to nine overnight and without hesitation. I believe we can all safely assume such an act of kindness and love does not come without difficulties. The selfless act of these amazing individuals has undoubtedly changed the lives of all involved. They opened their home and their hearts to these children. They know it will not be easy for many reasons. To this extent, it is the hope of the Keefe Family Polar Plunge, to help alleviate some of the financial burden for this family through this massive fundraising effort. This years plunge will be to support a young family who have 4 children of their own and have taken in three more due to the loss of a loved one. We would like to introduce you to Lindsay and Nick Logan, they have three children, Rylin age 6, Ellie age 9, and Nicholas Jr. age eleven. Due to a devastating loss, in a heartfelt and admirable life decision, this mother and father have taken into their home the couple's four nephews and nieces. Kevin age 5, Paislynn age 9, Maston age 12, and Alanna age 18 are the children of Lindsay’s sister Jocelyn, who passed away suddenly in September. The Logan family went from five to nine in an instant. The loss of a mother is truly shattering and traumatic at any time, imagine how heartbreaking for these very young children. It's very tragic and extremely difficult to imagine what they are going through emotionally and beyond. By providing a stable and loving home to these four beautiful children of a recently passed mother, this sister and brother-in-law are doing something extremely honorable to most, but ultimately to them “the right thing to do”.
