The country is in crisis mode. Healthy dogs and cats are being euthanized. Animals are getting sick and dying from preventable diseases that are being spread from overcrowding. What is worse? Many Animal Controls are not taking owners surrenders, and people wind up tossing them from cars in neighborhoods and on side roads. Dumping pets is at an all-time high and getting worse.

Bogeys is trying to help in this crisis. We are responding to kind-hearted people who want to help but do not have the resources to care for the animal they rescue, with the cost of food and veterinary care. We are mentoring them into fosters and working with them to find the pet a furever home. Unfortunately these, "I found a dog or cat" calls are bypassing the regular owner surrender.

We house our animals in foster care until they find their forever home. We provide them with everything they need to improve their chances of being successful in a new home. The biggest thing our volunteers provide these animals with is love and the opportunity to trust people. We get animals with all sorts of stories. We want to change that story and show them what love and trust is so that when they get placed, they are relaxed enough to give their new humans a chance.

We cannot do it without you. Anything you can give would be wonderful. Every amount helps.
