💔 Emergency Help Needed for Kelly 💔

Sweet Kelly needs our help. This gentle dog came to us with a painful eye condition — glaucoma — and a severe infection that we’ve been treating with medication. Despite our best efforts, the infection worsened, and Kelly’s eye began to ooze badly. He was rushed to the emergency vet for immediate care.

Today, Kelly is undergoing emergency surgery to remove the infected eye. His doctors believe this is the only way to stop his pain and give him a real chance at recovery. On top of that, Kelly also has severe dental disease, which likely contributed to his eye problem and infection. He will need dental care once he's recovered from his eye enucleation. 

Kelly does have a microchip, and we tried to reach his previous owners — but no one ever came for him. Now he’s depending on us to get through this.

The total cost for Kelly’s emergency care, surgery, and medications is expected to be $2,700–$3,000. This is an unexpected and heavy expense for our shelter, and we truly need the community’s help to give Kelly the care and comfort he deserves.
