Khloe is a sweet 5.5-year-old girl bursting with personality and affection. She’s fully house-trained, loves cuddles, and enjoys toys—whether that means a game of fetch or happily chewing her favorites. When out at the park, she gets adorable, joyful zoomies, though her runs are now limited because of serious injuries.

Khloe has torn the cranial cruciate ligaments (CCL, similar to ACL in humans) in both her knees, making it painful for her to walk, climb stairs, or play. The only way to restore her mobility is through TPLO (Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy) surgery on each leg, separately. This advanced procedure has a high success rate (90–95%) and is considered the gold standard for treating this injury in dogs. The surgery works by changing the angle of her tibia to stabilize the knee, which means she’ll finally be able to move without pain.

What to Expect: Khloe’s Recovery Journey

After each TPLO surgery, Khloe will spend 8–12 weeks in strict activity restriction—limited walks, no off-leash time, and careful supervision to protect her healing legs.
