Kirk started his love for ice hockey at the young age of four and played until the day he passed. He spent numerous hours on the ice practicing and scrimmaging with friends and family. He inspired his younger brothers to play and love the game, too. Ice hockey taught Kirk leadership skills, time management along with the ability to solve real life problems. Hopefully, this fundraiser will help give other SP kids the opportunity to enjoy hockey for their entire lives!

Kirk Graham Stewart meant the world to his family, teammates, coaches and friends. A few of his traits that impacted so many are a soft heart, a quiet soul, a committed collegiate student athlete and a young man of character. Whether it was on the ice or the track, Kirk was racing to the finish inspiring those around him to be their best.

The Race for Kirk, Night at the Races, will be a terrific reason to get together with friends while having fun betting on your first place horses. Kirk's remembrance will be an annual celebration of a young man and his special legacy no one will soon forget.

All funds raised will support The South Park Ice Hockey Inc so they may continue Kirk's National Champion legacy of strong character and athletic ambition on the ice and on the track.
