ABOUT KISMET OF KINGS
As one of the city’s most vital afterschool programs, Kismet of Kings aims to empower black and brown male students ages 11-18 years old - often hailing from low income and underserved neighborhoods - with mentorship, character development, and life skills training to succeed in high school, college, and beyond.
Over the past 11 years, we have officially enrolled more than 235 young men - with more than a dozen having gone on to college following our program. Together with our students, Kismet of Kings has contributed more than 10,000 hours of community service and hosted a variety of events that has impacted upwards of 400 families from across Jersey City. From cookouts to talent shows, from seminars to field trips, Kismet of Kings has provided more than 100 enrichment opportunities that engage and enrich our community.
This is all possible of course only through YOUR donations and involvement!
