🆘 Meet Birk, a 4-Month-Old Mastiff Puppy who was found as a stray — frightened, limping, and clearly in pain. He was found with visible trauma to his left hind leg, but remains bright, friendly, and showing his incredible resilience and gentle spirit.

Koch's stepped up for this young pup and although we are unsure of what the future holds, we knew he needs a chance to be puppy and live a full life -- whether that's with 3 legs or 4.

🩺 MEDICAL SUMMARY FROM SHELTER:

Non-weight bearing on the left hind leg

Displaced fracture of the distal femur (possibly involving the growth plate)

Additional swelling/bruising of the 4th digit on the same leg (possible fracture)

Superficial wound on the left lower abdomen

⚠️ Prognosis: Will require surgical repair of the femur or amputation
