Help Internally Displaced Families in Afghanistan
Afghanistan is seeing an enormous rise in the number of internally displaced people (IDPs) since the withdrawal of foreign troops began in May, according to data from the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA). Thousands of families fled their homes due to the brutal war led by the Taliban in Afghanistan's northern and southern provinces. Hundreds of families fled their villages to Kabul. Nearly all lack adequate shelter, access to medical care, and sufficient food.
Komak Rassan volunteers conducted a survey and identified more than 100 families from the following provinces: Kunduz, Baghlan, Pul-e-Khumri, and Takhar. They gathered in overcrowded areas living in the most tragic living conditions missing an adequate shelter, clothing, and household items. They are in immediate need of your help and support. Please join us in this campaign to help these families by providing them immediate support for food, shelter, and other essential items.
Thank you.
