Giving Tuesday 2024

Giving Tuesday is a global generosity movement created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good.

We are grateful for your generosity and for your support for our growing non-profit. Below are our current and planned initiatives, and you can learn more on our website or by contacting us directly!

Kauana`ike Films: A series of educational videos behind the meaning ALOHA, and how to incorporate it in our everyday lives.

Spirit Fest: A gathering of like minds focused on inspiration and connection, featuring spiritual leaders, workshops, and experiences.

World ALOHA Day: An organized day where gatherings take place globally to demonstrate and celebrate ALOHA (In Development)

Leadership Camp: A two-week leadership camp in which youth learn to become practitioners of ALOHA through culture-based learning. (In Deveolpment)

Spiritual Center: Ahupua’a that serves as home base for programming and elevates traditional Hawaiian sustainability practices. (In Development)

The vision for Giving Tuesday movement is this (from their website):

"We pursue radical generosity, defined by the transformational powers of empathy and solidarity, not a series of transactions or discrete interactions. Radical generosity creates a world in which the collective recognition of humanity fundamentally respects what each of us can give, receive, and learn from one another. If we were to arrive at any destination, having fulfilled our mission, that world would be built upon a foundation of shared humanity.

Generosity is uplifting, generative, equalizing, and connecting. We believe that each and every act of generosity is a worthy act in and of itself. In this work, generosity is the primary means and the primary end : GivingTuesday unleashes generosity to drive generosity. Generosity is GivingTuesday’s universal rallying cry and the foundation of our strategies."
