Across Philadelphia and communities nationwide, Black men are carrying the weight of trauma, grief, violence, economic stress, and stigma. They are among the least likely to receive mental health treatment—and yet are disproportionately impacted by the crises unfolding around us. For many, therapy feels out of reach: too expensive, not culturally aligned, or built on systems they don’t trust.

Black Men Heal exists to break those barriers.

We provide free, culturally attuned therapy, healing spaces, and mental-wellness support to Black men through programs such as our 8 Free Therapy Sessions, King’s Corner, Gun Violence Group Therapy, and youth and re-entry programming—programs that are transforming lives every single day.

Right now, more than 200 men sit on our waitlist, hoping for the opportunity to begin their healing journey.
