Help Build Kipe Academy’s Middle School & Maker Studio

Kipe Academy is preparing to expand into middle school while strengthening the innovative learning experiences that define our microschool. This growth requires resources to ensure our students continue to thrive academically, socially, and creatively.

We are seeking support to:

• Open our middle school classroom with age-appropriate furniture, books, and supplies that create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment.

• Upgrade our technology by replacing malfunctioning Kindles with reliable devices that fully support our Renaissance Star assessments and adaptive learning programs. These tools are critical for monitoring progress and providing individualized instruction.

• Expand our Imagination Lab, which offers thematic and dramatic play experiences tied to our HOT topic units. This includes adding dramatic play materials, middle school–appropriate activities, and resources that allow older students to still experience safe, creative play.

• Enhance our Lightbulb Lab, now serving as a second recess and STEM-building space, with materials that foster hands-on exploration through Legos, blocks, logs, and other engineering resources.

This expansion not only strengthens our ability to serve current families but also lays the foundation for future high school programming, ensuring students of all ages have access to a learning environment that inspires creativity, fosters independence, and empowers success.
