What is Leaders 4 Change?

Leaders 4 Change is Foster Youth In Action’s (FYIA) annual conference held in Washington, D.C. FYIA, the national arm of California Youth Connection (CYC), has empowered over 3,000 young leaders and supporters across the nation with essential skills in community organizing, political education, and leadership. FYIA’s annual Leaders 4 Change Conference is centered around youth-led initiatives that are transforming our communities. These spaces are crucial to support advocacy, propel movements, encourage discourse, and drive change.

Several CYC members will be traveling from California to Washington, D.C. to attend the event that is taking place December 8 - December 12, 2024.

Free Childcare Will Be Provided to Youth Members!

To ensure an equitable opportunity for all youth members to attend this conference, free childcare will be provided to parents who need it. You can support Leaders 4 Change attendees who are parents by making a contribution that will enhance their conference experience. Your donation can provide a meal, to travel fare for their children.
