My name is Ashlynn Koons, and I am honored to assist the team of RFT in helping to raise funds in support of helping under-served children to find the sport of tennis. The fundamental values that tennis has left me with since the age of four were crucial to my development as a person. Tennis has taught me individual and collaborative skills, mental toughness, and how to push myself until the very last point. RFT’s goal of providing tennis to under-served youth is essential, as it helps children to find asylum in the sport, formulate lasting relationships, and teaches skills applicable to life beyond the court.
