Disaster Recovery Fund

Fifteen of our member communities were deeply affected by the devastation of Hurricane Helene. While we know that rebuilding efforts will be ongoing, we have closed fundraising at this time and are pleased to report that your gifts made an impact. Thanks to donors like you, we distributed $217,000 directly to individuals whose lives were disrupted by the storm. In addition, we allocated $233,000 to eight western North Carolina member communities, supporting their recovery efforts and helping them rebuild. Your generosity played a crucial role in easing the burdens faced by so many. Thank you.
