Hey, I'm Clara! In the two years I've debated on the LASA debate team, I've had the opportunity to develop skills that support critical thinking, quality research, and public speaking. I've also been introduced to some amazing people and new friendships. However, without school funding, tournament fees and travel expenses involved in participating on the national and state circuit can be difficult to afford, on top of already running a volunteer-based program.
